My name is Maria DeChellis and I welcome you to Harbor Island and our little piece of paradise. I have been coming to Harbor Island for about 18 years and feel so grateful to be able to enjoy it with you. Let me know if there is additional information you feel I should add to the site that would help other guests in the future – or if there is anything you feel that could improve your stay.
THERMOSTAT: I recently installed an ecobee thermostat. You will still be able to set it to your own comfort level. This link contains a short video on how to change the temperature in case you aren’t comfortable with it (or you can reach out to me).
LOCK: The lock is an automatic one (Kwikset) that auto-locks after about 10 seconds behind you (and the code is changed so that guests before you and after you do not have the same code for safety) You can watch a video on how to unlock it HERE .
WIFI: The wifi Network is BillsMafiaATL. The wireless password is G0B1lls! (that is with the numbers 0 and 1). (You couldn’t possibly guess my favorite Superbowl bound football team—can you?).
PARK: In the condo is a pass for the SC State Park – you can use it to go to Hunting Island State Park. Just please make sure you return it when you are done.
MISCELLANEOUS: We just replaced the mattress about two months ago on the advice of some earlier guests so I hope you it suits your comfort level. We also replaced the mattress on the sofa bed, so hopefully that one will also be a bit more comfortable than a standard sofa bed mattress.

Extra Note: I happen to run a nonprofit in addition to my day job. I started it because I widowed young (34 years old) with two small children, and saw many instances of widows in drastically different situations if they had experienced a water shut-off.
